About Lara Bubalo Manor
The intersection of finance, law, and education spurred Lara to pursue Financial Coaching with an emphasis on values-based spending and compassionate approach.
Lara Bubalo Manor began her career in high finance, working as a private equity analyst at Lehman Brothers. Lehman's bankruptcy was an indelible part of Lara's early career and motivated her to apply to law school. While attending the University of Texas School of Law, she served as a staff member for the Texas Review of Entertainment and Sports Law and enjoyed public interest work in the fields of financial access, education, and children’s rights.
Upon graduation she worked for several Dallas-based boutique law firms where she counseled clients on how to buy, build, and sell businesses and real estate and all that was entailed in those endeavors. In 2021, she decided to step away from law firm life. Most recently, she's enjoyed shaping the next generation of business leaders and attorneys by teaching Entrepreneurial Law at the collegiate level and serving as an adjunct professor for Negotiations and Client Interviewing & Counseling to students at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law.
Lara enjoys giving back to her community and is proud of her work Chairing the Parental Leave Initiative which provides transparency around parental leave and childcare benefits by Dallas' largest law firms. Additionally, she is in her tenth active year with the Junior League of Dallas where she's held positions on the Board of Directors; Co-Chaired the inaugural year of the Park Improvement Project, a committee partnering with Texas Trees Foundation to make a healthier, cooler, and more beautiful city; in addition to other leadership positions.
She and her husband enjoy attending their two elementary school-aged children’s events throughout Dallas and the DFW Metroplex. In her spare time enjoys reading; listening to podcasts about pop culture; and creative pursuits such as painting, dancing, and imagining her next Halloween costume.
